「痛みは一瞬。映画は永遠」で、体を張ったスタントばかりだった”バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー”を作る時に、主演マイケル.J.フォックスが監督ロバート・ゼメキスと繰り返し交わした言葉を書きました。

痛みは一瞬。映画は永遠。

　”バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー”では、主人公は、1985年の世界から1955年にタイムスリップします。今日、引用する言葉は、そのさらに3年前の1952年、まさに時空間を表現する相対性理論で有名な、アルバート・アインシュタインの言葉です。

　1948年にイスラエルが建国されたあと、1952年にはイスラエル初代首相ベン・グリオンから大統領になってほしいと要請されましたが、「政治は一瞬、方程式は永遠」と言って断りました。

この２つのフレーズは、似ているようで、文の流れは結構違います。前者は、永遠のために一瞬を受け入れ、後者は、一瞬には目を向けず永遠を眺めます。
